PROFESSIONAL TRAINER’S COMPETENCY: UNDERSTANDING ADULT LEARNING.

When trainers possess competencies that are considered best practices, he or she  can influence better learning outcomes.

Not coming out of thin air, the trainer competencies refer to a variety of sources such as guides for trainers, ASTD, and international training practices. In fact, trainer competencies can be similar when found in teaching models of early childhood and adult professionals.

In this way, trainees can apply training content to their roles and responsibilities  in their profession and their jobs. Thus, trainees get countless practice opportunities during the training session , and this is important to make learning stick.
